Business and Technology Incubation
- Concept Development of New Incubators
- Business Coaching
- Commercialisation Support
- Mentoring
Business incubators are programs and facilities designed to assist the successful development of entrepreneurial companies through an array of business support resources and services, developed and orchestrated by incubator management and offered both in the incubator and through its network of contacts. Business incubation is a unique and highly flexible combination of business development processes, infrastructure and people designed to nurture new and emerging companies by helping them to survive and grow through the difficult and vulnerable early stages of development.
An incubation programme ensures that small business and entrepreneurs seeking to start or promote the growth of their enterprise have easy access to knowledge, experience in management, and financial resources. Invariably business incubators will provide a variety of resources or resourcefulness which may include the following:
- shared facilities and premises
- shared resources
- business advice
- business services
- networking
- mentoring
- a full time manager
Support to Incubatee
The essence of incubation is that the new enterprise is less encumbered with management and support functions typically required in a new business (Finance, HR, Business Development, Process support, Administration, etc). This allows the entrepreneur to focus on the technical aspect of ensuring the product/service is delivered at the right quality at the right time to the customer. Huda Consulting will help government agencies and support organisations to conceptualise and design the incubation model from the selection of commodities to the selection and placement of incubatees. With our knowledge and proven experience in setting up incubators we are able to tailor-make the most appropriate solution in line with budget and timing constraints.
Huda Consulting also offers mentoring and coaching support to incubatees within existing incubators from the idea generation stage through to proof of concept, prototyping and commercialisation. Our approach will ensure that the business enterprise is nurtured and coached throughout the process of incubation ensuring that when the enterprise graduates from the centre, it is self-sufficient and a positive contributor to the economy.
